The residential parking program is designed to ensure that residents are afforded the first opportunity to utilize on-street parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the homes. Please affix the sticker provided to the back window on the driver’s side in the lower left corner; however, if your car has a tinted back window, affix the sticker provided to the front window passenger side.

New Digital Resident Parking to Launch in January 2025

On January 1, 2025, the City of Clayton will implement digital permits for residential parking zones. Current permit holders will be automatically converted to the new system. Residents will also be able to accommodate guests through the new digital system, but physical hangtags will be available for those who prefer the option. The new system will reduce the need to visit City facilities for permits, allow residents to transfer and add permits without the need for new stickers, increase staff efficiency, and reduce costs.
