On December 15, 2015 the Clayton Mayor and Board of Aldermen hired Walker Parking Consultants to compete a parking study for downtown Clayton. The consultant began by completing a comprehensive inventory of existing parking, as well as an assessment of future parking needs. They also conducted interviews and group meetings to help define the challenges for downtown parking users such as office tenants, businesses, retailers, resident and visitors.

This parking study aims to provide a comprehensive and accurate view of parking activity and issues in downtown Clayton. This report focuses on accommodating future downtown growth and parking in a sustainable and fiscally responsible manner. Click here to view the study.
