Welcome to the 2023 Clayton Summer Dive Team! This team offers instruction and competition through affiliation with the Southwest St. Louis County Municipal Swim & Dive League. Participants will focus on the five dive groups, forward and backward entries, and approaches on the 1-meter springboard. Meets will be held in Clayton and other facilities in the St. Louis area. Registration opens on March 1 for members and residents, and April 1 for non-members. New member information for the League is available here.

Parent's Pre-Season Judge's Clinic: 

The 2023 Parent's Pre-season judge clinic will be on Sunday, June 4 at 3:00 p.m. at the Center of Clayton. A guardian for each participant will be required to work three dive meets. This is an opportunity to learn more about the dives you will be judging.

Prerequisite: 

Demonstration of 15-yard deep end swim without stopping or struggling.

Practice: Practice will begin on Monday, June 5. Practice will be held from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at the Center of Clayton on Monday/Wednesday and Shaw Park Aquatic Center (SPAC) on Tuesday/Thursday.

In cases of inclement weather, practice will be attempted to move to The Center of Clayton.  Please contact the Weather Hotline at (314) 290-8592 prior to practice.

Dive Meet Schedule: 

All dive meets will start at 3:30 unless otherwise stated.  The home team will warm-up at 2:30pm, with visitors warming up at 3:00pm. All parents will be asked to work 3 meets as a volunteer and sign up will take place at registration.

Warm-up times for preliminaries/finals will be released the week prior to the Dive Conference.

Swim Suits:

The Clayton Summer Dive Team will be wearing matching suits for the 2023 season.  All registered participants should go to B & B Aquatics at 1163 Colonade Center, Des Peres, MO 63131 for a fitting and to order the 2022 dive team suit before the end of May.  For questions, please contact B & B Aquatics at (314) 821-7946.
