Police Weekly Incident Report: July 23 – 29

On Wednesday at 12:46 pm, a woman was found in possession of heroin at the St. Louis County Administration Building at 41 S. Central Ave.

On Thursday at 12:37 am, a traffic stop at N. Brentwood and Topton Ave resulted in the driver being arrested for DWI.

On Thursday morning, several thefts were reported from unlocked vehicles on Crestwood, Hillvale, and the 7100 block of Wydown.  The thefts occurred during the overnight hours. 

On Thursday at 11:20 pm, a traffic stop at Maryland and N. Central resulted in a DWI arrest. 

On Friday around 1:00 am, numerous unlocked vehicles were entered on 7400 York and 7400 and 7500 Cromwell.  Only a couple of items were stolen from the vehicles. 

On Friday at 3:23 pm, a male subject threw food on an employee of the Clayton Plaza Hotel.  The suspect was located at the Metrolink stop and arrested for assault. 

On Sunday at 6:04 pm, a male suspect shoplifted 6 bottles of laundry detergent from Walgreens.

On Monday at 12:47 am, 2 male suspects and 2 female suspects left IHOP without paying for their meals. 

During this reporting period, the Clayton PD responded to 448 calls for service, including 24 automobile accidents and 36 calls to assist the Fire Department.
