The City is hosting a public meeting on Tuesday, December 5 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Center of Clayton (50 Gay Ave.) to gather input for the ongoing long-range planning efforts. The Clayton Tomorrow 2040 Plan focuses on land use, economic development, and transportation. The Livable Community Plan focuses on parks, recreation, bicycle and pedestrian planning. There are many connections and overlaps between the two plans, so we are hosting a joint event for the community.  

The joint public meeting is open house style, so you are welcome to come and go throughout the three hours of the event. The meeting will include various stations to solicit feedback and thoughts. There will also be a station for kids’ activities and coloring.  

If you have attended other engagement events for either Clayton Tomorrow 2040 or the Livable Community Plan, we hope you will attend this event as well. There will be questions and topics covered at the joint meeting that have not been covered previously. The consultants leading the process and City staff will also be in attendance to facilitate the engagement and answer questions.
