Historic Walking Tour: Changes to Clayton in the 1930’s

  • Introduction: This walking tour will focus on Downtown Clayton and look at the struggles that our country faced leading up to the Great Depression. The tour will also look at how the City of Clayton changed as a result of this transformative period in our nation’s history.

Begins at the Century Garden in Shaw Park

This walking tour will focus on Downtown Clayton and look at the struggles that our country faced leading up to the Great Depression.  The tour will also look at how the City of Clayton changed as a result of this transformative period in our nation’s history.  Please wear comfortable shoes.  $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents.  Please visit the Center of Clayton to register or call (314) 290-8500.
