Introduction: Representatives from Clayton Parks and Recreation as well as SWT Design will be at the pond in Oak Knoll Park on July 29 from 5:00 – 6:30 to discuss a proposal to repair the pond, enhance the landscaping, and create a new pavilion through a generous donation to the Clayton Community Foundation.
Repairs to the pond at Oak Knoll Park have been needed for several years, but have been low on the City-wide list of needs in Clayton’s Capital Improvement Budget. Recently, a local resident pledged funds through the Clayton Community Foundation to not only repair the pond, but also enhance the landscaping and pathways, and create a new overlook pavilion at no cost to the City.
You are invited to an on-site meeting on July 29 at the pond in Oak Knoll Park to discuss your views of this proposal. Representatives from the City of Clayton and SWT Design will be available to answer questions and record feedback from the community.
